UNITE Wales hailed a landmark victor today after gaining union recognition for staff at Cardiff comedy venue the Glee Club. 

The recognition for workers to be covered by a collective agreement followed an extensive organising campaign by the union.

Unite described the victory as significant as it is one of the first agreements of its kind within the Welsh hospitality sector.
