Weetabix workers to strike over pay

WORKERS who produce the Weetabix breakfast cereal are to strike over pay after voting unanimously in favour of action.

The staff at the company’s factory in Kettering, Northamptonshire, are in dispute with management over the rate for working unsocial hours.

Following Tuesday night’s vote, they plan to stage a series of 24-hour and 48-hour strikes from July 28 until a resolution is reached.
