Banksy confirms Port Talbot mural is his artwork
STREET artist Banksy confirmed today that he has painted a new artwork on the walls of a garage in Port Talbot, Wales, that appears to reference the town’s industrial heritage.
The painting appeared overnight in the Taibach area and shows a child playing in the falling ash and smoke from a fire in a skip.
The owner of the garage, Ian Lewis, a steelworker for the town’s Tata Steel steelworks, said he first saw the artwork when images were shared on Facebook yesterday evening.
