Climate activists blockade offices of Russia-linked fossil fuel shipping firm in Glasgow

CLIMATE activists blockaded the Glasgow offices of a “Russia-linked” global fossil fuel shipping firm today in solidarity with Ukrainians.

Four protesters from the Glasgow Calls Out Polluters campaign group locked themselves to bikes and another to a gas canister, while three sat on the floor to block the gates of gas shipping giant Seapeak’s office.

The group said they were carrying out the action at Seapeak’s Glasgow HQ to demand an end to gas shipping which they say is fuelling Russia’s war on Ukraine.
