JEREMY CORBYN stuck to his guns today when he addressed the results of a poll of Labour members showing that a majority of those surveyed want to see him support a second EU referendum.
A survey of more than 1,000 members, conducted by YouGov for the Economic & Social Research Council-funded Party Members Project (PMP), found that 72 per cent would like to see the Labour leader support the so-called People’s Vote.
But Labour strategists are acutely aware that two-thirds of Labour constituencies voted to leave the EU.
