Campaigners call for an end to ‘aggravating tensions’ on the Korean peninsula as North Korea fires three more missiles
Protesters stag a rally to demand peace on the Korean peninsula in front of the presidential office in Seoul, South Korea, Thursday, November 3, 2022

PEACE campaigners called today for an end to “aggravating tensions” on the Korean peninsula after North Korea fired three more missiles.

The latest North Korean launches prompted the issuing of warnings to residents in parts of Japan and the South Korean eastern island of Ulleungdo to seek shelter.

The South Korean military said one long-range ballistic missile was launched at around 7.40am local time and shortly afterwards they detected “two short-range ballistic missiles.”
