IN THE ongoing, increasingly vicious anti-semitism-in-the-Labour-Party saga, the accusations have actually dwindled to a single argument: if you voice support for Palestinian rights you must be an anti-semite — by definition.

The argument is being used globally, to varying effect.

The UN has had reason to pass more resolutions critical of Israel than of any other country.
