21st Century Poetry O Jeremy Corbyn

They’re hanging out old Jeremy
for still wearing the gaberdine
he wore cleaning up the stables
of the old regime, the flecks of Blair
and Browns’ oxen and Campbell
and Mandelson still sticking
virulently to its theme, the same shit
reeking of malice and the self-serving
hypocrisy that so eluded him. See it
steam, the martyrdom of the most
decidedly anti anti-semitic socialist
leader this country has ever seen,
coming soon, to theatres near you.
