School strike action is harm prevention – for all of us

ON May 15, NEU members were reballoted for further strike action, about a fortnight after the most recent strike.

One of the speakers that day spoke about preventable deaths, on behalf of Unite members in hospitals, who showed their solidarity throughout.

Although I found this topic odd at first (what did preventable death have to do with education?), the speaker made the parallels clear.
