Labour could back Article 50 extension to prevent a ‘no deal’ Brexit, Corbyn says
Jeremy Corbyn speaks in Parliament today

JEREMY CORBYN said he could back a three-month delay to Brexit today if it helped prevent a “no deal” departure from the EU.

Speaking ahead of MPs voting on amendments to the EU Withdrawal Agreement, the Labour leader said the party would support an extension.

He said that there needs to be more time as there is “no chance” PM Theresa May can get a deal that would command the support of the Commons before getting all Brexit legislation passed by March 29.
