A BRITISH man has been found guilty of terrorism after he travelled to Iraq and trained with a left-wing Kurdish militia to fight against Islamic State.
Aidan James, 28, was convicted by an Old Bailey jury yesterday for his involvement with the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in 2017.
Mr Justice Edis said the defendant’s conduct was “not intended to promote any acts of terrorism by him.”
