MPs to probe Welsh prison service
MPs are to probe how prisons and probation are being run in Wales, the Commons Welsh affairs committee has said.
Although the Westminster government is responsible for criminal justice in Wales, the Welsh administration runs overlapping services like health, housing and education.
The committee will take evidence from a range of groups on how joined-up the two governments are on rehabilitating offenders and on how Westminster takes Welsh requirements into account.
