This photo provided on Nov. 19, 2022, by the North Korean government shows North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, left, inspects what it says a Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile at Pyongyang International Airport in Pyongyang, North Korea, Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.

NORTH KOREA’S Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui blasted the United Nations UN secretary-general, as “a puppet of the United States” after it condemned the North’s recent intercontinental ballistic missile test.

UN chief Antonio Guterres earlier issued a statement strongly condemning North Korea’s ICBM launch on Friday and reiterated his call on the North to “to immediately desist from taking any further provocative actions.”

The United States and other countries issued similar criticisms of the North’s ICBM test which was intended to show it had the potential to strike anywhere in the continental US.
