Outsourced hospital staff demanding equal conditions to NHS counterparts announce two-day strike

OUTSOURCED hospital staff have announced a two-day strike demanding the same pay and working conditions as their NHS counterparts.

The G4S cleaners and porters are set to walk out of Croydon University Hospital in south London next Monday and Tuesday.

The workers, members of GMB union, voted overwhelmingly for strike action in a ballot earlier this month.
