ACTIVISTS rallied outside Teledyne CML Composites on the Wirral today, protesting against the company’s role in Israel’s war crimes in Gaza.

Teledyne have been supplying armed drones to Israel since at least 1973. 

Its site in Bromborough makes composite structures which are attached to drones and planes. 

The company is also involved in the F-35 programme, and makes structural components for the fighter jet, which is used by Israel to bomb Palestinians in Gaza. 

It is unclear at which of Teledyne’s five British sites the F-35 components are produced at.

“We’re here today as part of the people’s embargo, because Israel won’t stop exporting arms to Israel, so it’s up to us to stop that,” said one activist.

Another said: “We want to get them out of Merseyside.

“We’re trying to raise more attention to local people around here because they’re very well hidden.

“A lot of people don’t know that this site is here.” 

Workers were reportedly called in earlier to their shifts in anticipation of the protest in front of the site’s entrances. 

The protest was called by Palestine Action Liverpool.
