PALESTINE supporters marched in Manchester on Saturday in support of the Sheikh Jarrah community that is being cleared to make way for Israeli developments in East Jerusalem.
The march, called by Manchester Youth for Palestine and young Palestinians, targeted the city offices of property company JLL Ltd, which rents British premises to Israeli arms firm Elbit Systems.
Marchers held banners saying “save Sheikh Jarrah” and “arms embargo on Israel now” while shouting “Palestine will be free” and “viva, viva Palestina.”
