A LABOUR Party veteran member who publicly confronted Sir Keir Starmer in Liverpool for “lying” to the membership and backtracking on his pledges has been expelled from the party.

The expulsion came just four days after pensioner and activist Audrey White confronted the Labour leader during his visit to the city last week.

A viral video of the incident showed the 71-year-old accusing Sir Keir of “feeding into the Tory ideology” by failing to support strikers and “lying” to the membership about uniting the party.
