Phillips makes costly debut error as West Ham draw 1-1 with Bournemouth
West Ham United's Kalvin Phillips

This will be a game West Ham debutant Kalvin Phillips will want to forget, after setting up Bournemouth's opening goal, in this hard fought draw at the London Stadium.

The game was just into the second minute, when Kurt Zouma played a short pass to Phillips, who stretching, only succeeded in passing the ball onto Dominic Solanki, who easily finished pass Alphonse Areola.

Bournemouth should have doubled their lead, when Solanke played in Antoine Semenyo, who was clear in on goal but Areola pulled off a brilliant point blank save.
