PIERS CORBYN was arrested today on suspicion of encouraging people to attack MPs’ offices during an anti-vaccine protest.

In a widely shared video, the conspiracy theorist criticises politicians who voted for “plan B” Covid-19 restrictions and appears to encourage a crowd to “hammer to death those scum” who voted for the measures.

“You’ve got to get a list of them … and if your MP is one of them, go to their offices and, well, I would recommend burning them down,” he is heard saying in the video, which was likely filmed during a protest in central London on Wednesday.

“But I can’t say that on air. I hope we’re not on air.”

The Met Police did not name Mr Corbyn, but a spokesman said: “The arrest relates to a video posted online in which people were encouraged to burn down MPs’ offices.”

Police officers suffered “minor injuries” during “scuffles” at an anti-vaccine demonstration near Parliament on Saturday, which was also addressed by Piers Corbyn.

The officers were injured while attempting to escort a police motorcyclist through the area at about 12.30pm, the Met said.

The force said that their officers were also subjected to “abuse and physical violence” elsewhere in Whitehall, with several more officers sustaining minor injuries.
