Rail union slams Tories over ‘gaping black hole’ in Budget's transport policy

TSSA accused the government today of presenting a Budget which “leaves a gaping black hole” on transport policy.

The transport and travel union said that Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s announcement had contained nothing on the sector beyond pothole repairs.

TSSA interim president Marios Alexandrou said: “This was a Tory Budget which leaves a gaping black hole where transport policy should be.
