GB men's side get the better of the Netherlands

GREAT BRITAIN’S men did their FIH Pro League top-four chances the world of good with a 3-1 win over the Netherlands in Eindhoven today.

Will Calnan gave Danny Kerry’s side the lead in the eighth minute, with a reverse-stick effort, but Mink van der Weerden equalised three minutes later.

Sam Ward finished off a lovely team goal five minutes into the second half to put GB ahead, before Chris Griffiths’s stunner early in the fourth quarter sealed the three points.
