A helping hand at Haydock this afternoon

DESPITE a drying day in store this afternoon, soft ground will be the order of the day for the Betfair Haydock Park Sprint at 4.10, which would certainly not favour Ten Sovereigns.

That hands an advantage to the likes of German raider Waldpfad (top price of 20/1) yet holds Stewards Cup hero Khadeem on Newbury form — and HELLO YOUMZAIN.

The Kevin Ryan-trained speedster arrives here following a very light campaign comprising of three runs. A non-staying effort in the Greenham at Newbury, a defeat of Calyx over the course and distance and then a staying on third in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot.
