Unite members at St Mungo's to strike for a month for higher pay

MORE than 500 workers at homeless charity St Mungo’s are to strike for a month from Tuesday over pay.

Their union Unite says the value of their pay has plummeted by 25 per cent over the last decade while managers’ pay has soared by 350 per cent.

They have rejected a proposed increase of 2.5 per cent.
