US resumes arms deliveries to Ukraine

THE United States resumed arms deliveries to Ukraine today, the day after the Trump administration lifted its suspension of military aid to Kiev in its war against Russia.

This followed Ukrainian officials signalling that they were open to a 30-day ceasefire backed by Washington.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said today that it was important not to “get ahead” of the question of responding to the ceasefire proposal.
