AT least one person is believed to have been killed after an explosion inside a mosque in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province during today’s Friday prayers. 

Seven people were reported to have been injured in the blast in the village of Al-Bardi in the Imam Sahib district. 

“The explosives were placed inside the mosque. The blast occurred when worshippers were offering Friday prayers,” police spokesman Qari Obaidullah Abedi said.
