Communist Party of Ukraine claims ‘redistribution of Europe’ plotted by western intelligence services

Communist Party of Ukraine general secretary Petro Symonenko has claimed that the “redistribution of Europe” is being plotted by Western intelligence, leading a drive to war with Russia.

He warned on Monday of a newly formed “militaristic triple alliance” of Britain, the US and Poland, which has allied with “the ruling regime of Nazi oligarchs in Ukraine.”

The leader claimed the latest aggression was being carried out “on the orders of international capital under the auspices of the United States and Nato for a new territorial redistribution of Europe.”

The drive to war “is rooted in the bowels of the CIA, MI6 and other Western special services with which President Zelensky is now actively co-operating,” Mr Symonenko said.

“In particular, we are talking about his meetings with the head of MI6 in London in 2020 and with the head of the CIA in Kiev in January 2022,” he added.

But he said the composition of the current “triple alliance” was not accidental.

“Both Britain and Poland have historically used Russophobia and Ukrainian nationalists to their own advantage,” Mr Symonenko said.

“After the defeat of the Third Reich, Hitler’s accomplices and war criminals involved in the mass murder of civilians and the Holocaust — the soldiers of the SS divisions and police battalions — entrenched themselves under the wing of the US and British special services.

“And today, their ideological descendants are actively used by these special services to whip up Russophobia and create a bridgehead against Russia, where Ukrainian citizens are considered exclusively as cannon fodder in the war for the interests of the alliance,” he said.

He said “only a fool” would not be able to recognise the fearmongering and escalating hysteria of influential media organisations, including CNN and the Washington Post, as part of a propaganda war.

Mr Symonenko highlighted the recent publication of the headline “Russia invaded Ukraine” by the Bloomberg website, which it retracted and described as “an accident.”

He warned that media organisations were walking “the beaten path of Nazi propoaganda chief, Josef Goebbels."

"Thus began the second world war, when Hitler accused Poland of seizing a German radio station in Gleiwitz, which in fact turned out to be a provocation of the SS.

"They want to pit Ukraine and Russia against each other today,” he said.
