FOSSIL gas and burning trees for energy will play a key part in the European Union’s so-called “green deal,” climate activist Greta Thunberg warned today.
It came after a leak by French publication Contexte revealed that a host of industries from gas, bioenergy, aviation and nuclear power are poised to cash in under the draft of the European Commission’s taxonomy after months of intense lobbying in Brussels.
