VETERAN rock musician Neil Young launched legal proceedings against US President Donald Trump’s campaign team on Tuesday, saying that he doesn’t want his music used by a “campaign of ignorance and hate.”
He cited two of his songs, Rockin’ in the Free World and Devil’s Sidewalk, which have been used numerous times at campaign rallies and other political events.
Mr Young insisted that he was not suing to “disrespect the rights and opinions of American citizens, who are free to support the candidate of their choosing.”
