North Korea launches more ballistic missiles into the sea
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspects military exercises at an undisclosed location in North Korea on October 6, 2022

NORTH KOREA launched four more ballistic missiles into the sea on Saturday, adding to growing tensions in the region.

The United States responded to the latest launches by scrambling two supersonic bombers, which streaked over South Korea in a display of military power.

Pyongyang has fired more than 30 missiles in the last week, including an intercontinental ballistic missile on Thursday that triggered alerts in northern Japan and a South Korean island.
