North Korea suspected of firing artillery into sea
NORTH Korea is believed to have fired artillery shells into the sea on Sunday days after its leader Kim Jong Un vowed to bolster the country’s military power to counter foreign threats.
South Korean military chiefs said they detected “several flight trajectories” which it said had been launched by Pyongyang.
Seoul said it had not immediately reported on Sunday’s suspected missile test as the shots were of a “traditional” type with relatively low altitude and short-range.
