Two-thirds of South Sudan at risk of famine, UN warns
TWO-THIRDS of the population of South Sudan is at risk of famine, according to the United Nations.
A new report by the UN says that nearly eight million people are in imminent danger of famine.
The joint report by the UN food and agriculture organisation, the UN children’s fund and the World Food Programme says the proportion of people facing famine and malnutrition “has never been higher.”
