A WOMAN and her son were among those killed during a missile attack on a busy marketplace in Donetsk today as heavy shelling intensified in eastern Ukraine.

An official from the Donetsk Peoples’ Republic said it was “just another normal day” for the region as footage showed smoke billowing from the area in the aftermath of the artillery strike.

At least three people were killed and four injured while firefighters struggled to contain the blaze.
