BAHRAIN: President of Israel Isaac Herzog has been forced to change the itinerary for his Bahrain visit, which began on Sunday, due to demonstrations against his visit, according to reports.

Demonstrators last week reportedly raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine.

Some protesters reportedly carried images of Mr Herzog calling him a “criminal,” while others carried signs stating: “You’re not welcome in Bahrain.” Israeli officials claim the protests are being backed by Iran.

FRANCE: A hospital in Versailles had to cancel operations and transfer some patients after being hit by a cyberattack on Sunday.

Six patients had to be transferred — three from intensive care and three from the neonatal unit.

The Paris prosecutors office has opened a preliminary investigation into hacking state data and attempted extortion, after the hospital filed a formal complaint on Sunday.

UNITED STATES: The White House has blasted Donald Trump after the former president called for the “termination” of the US Constitution.

Mr Trump made the call in a post on Saturday on his social media platform, Truth Social, which he owns, as he repeated the lie that he won the 2020 presidential election.

UNITED STATES:  Grass-roots candidates won six of the 14 seats on the union International Executive Board as members of the United Auto Workers union voted on their leaders in an election that stemmed from a federal bribery and embezzlement scandal involving former union officials.

They could win as many as eight, including the presidency, and control a majority, depending on the outcome of three run-off elections.
