GREECE: A search-and-rescue operation for four migrants missing off the coast of an eastern island took place today after a boat trying to reach the country from the Turkish coast got into difficulty.
The coastguard found 18 people on the boat off the southern coast of Samos following a distress call, with passengers reporting that there had originally been 22 aboard.
