WELSH peace campaigners are inviting all Senedd members to attend a “peace summit” on the dangers of militarism on March 5.

The day of presentations will take place at the Senedd’s Pierhead building, on the theme Highlighting Militarism in Wales, and is organised by Heddwch ar Waith (Peace Action Wales). It’s sponsored by Plaid Cymru MS Heledd Fychan.

It will include a lunchtime session highlighting Parc Against Darc (Pembrokeshire Against Radar Campaign against Deep space Advanced Radar Concept), a grassroots movement to stop US President “Trump and Elon Musk’s attempt to dominate space” through a 27-antennae radar farm the US military wishes to build at Cawdor barracks in Pembrokeshire.
