KURDISH rights campaigners will begin a three-day protest outside Holyrood on Monday against Turkey’s war on Kurdistan.
Since April 24 Turkey has been attacking Kurdistan in opposition to its independence struggle.
Campaigners with Scotland Kurdish People’s Assembly and the Edinburgh Union of Refugee Families are calling on the European Union to press Turkey to stop its aggression.
The protest outside Scotland’s Parliament in Edinburgh is also demanding Britain stop providing weapons to the Turkish armed forces.
Organisers of the campaign said Turkey was using fighter jets to attack people in the Kurdistan districts of Metinan, Avasin, Gare and the Zap mountains.
The campaigners said: “The sad truth is that the Turkish state is not the only one in this war.
“The United States and the UK are parties to the war, with military and financial co-operation and ultimately complicit in the Kurdish genocide.”
