A LABOUR Scottish government would work “hand in hand” with the European Union, according to Anas Sarwar.
The Scottish labour leader made the remarks today while on a visit to Germany to meet members of the ruling Social Democratic Party.
Despite Labour having rejected calls to re-enter a customs union or the EU single market, Mr Sarwar said: “The UK Labour government has worked tirelessly to reset our relationship with our European neighbours.
