Library staff celebrating victory after strike sees 20% increase in sick pay
LIBRARY workers celebrated a 20 per cent increase in sick pay today after staging a 24-hour strike.
The workers are employed by social enterprise Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL), which runs more than 240 leisure centres, 120 libraries and 15 children's centres across the UK.
The Unite members walked out on Tuesday this week and staged a mass picket at Woolwich Centre Library in London.
