KERALA will defy India’s Hindu chauvinist government from next month by teaching recently censored textbook content in schools.
The Communist-led state government says that after the break for the harvest festival of Onam ends, schools will start using republished textbooks that include passages removed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training earlier this year.
