Owner of Glasgow's 13th Note bar closes venue, leaving over 20 staff redundant

THE under-fire owner of Glasgow’s 13th Note bar has closed the venue, leaving more than 20 staff redundant.

Workers in dispute over pay, contracts and health and safety learned of their fate from a press release today.

Owner Jacqueline Fennessy claimed she had “faced direct threats and verbal assaults from the Unite Hospitality leader [sic]” and that “Unite Hospitality has sabotaged our business.”
