Workers at Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health win improved deal

PAEDIATRICIANS have won a deal which they say gives them more holidays, better maternity and paternity leave and more than double an original proposed pay increase following seven days of strike action.

Members of union Unite employed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) said a 2.5 per cent pay increase was imposed on them last year.

But following strike action they have won increases and bonuses worth 10 per cent.
