DRIVING out fascists attempting to sow hate in the Scottish town of Elgin, hundreds of counterprotesters turned out to support refugees in a solidarity vigil on Saturday.

Hitler impersonator Alek Yerbury was left lonely and humiliated as his message of hate and division was lost in a sea of solidarity in the Morayshire town.

The co-founder of the fascist National Support Detachment (NSD) had travelled some 400 miles from his home in Leeds, dressed as a 1930s Nazi-at-leisure to address an eight-person rally, which was then ditched.
