Colleges in Wales to receive £4m funding boost for mental health and wellbeing support

COLLEGES in Wales have welcomed a £4 million boost in funding for mental health and wellbeing support in the further education sector.

Education minister Jeremy Miles is set to announce the extra money in a visit to Coleg Cambria today during mental health awareness week.

The £4m is intended to increase the capacity of welfare teams in all FE colleges in Wales, including recruitment of wellbeing support officers.
