MORE than 20 North Sea oil and gas platforms are to be hit by “tsunami” of strike action over pay from this week, their union Unite announced today.
Crane operators and engineers, deck crew and a “maintenance flying squad” are among workers who will down tools tomorrow.
Platforms to be hit include those of Shell and Harbour Energy.
