Lancaster University students occupy campus over arms companies link

STUDENTS at Lancaster University occupied the campus on Wednesday evening to demand that the institution cut its ties with arms companies.

The university signed an agreement with BAE Systems to provide data science and cyber-security research earlier this year.

Along with the Cumbria University, Lancaster University has opened up a new campus for the project despite announcing that it would be screening out arms trade investments.
