OUTSOURCER G4S is facing its first ever strike after 1,200 workers voted to walk out over pay, their union, GMB announced today.

The staff, who deliver cash to household names such as Barclays, HSBC, Tesco, Wetherspoon, Santander, Asda and Aldi, backed industrial action by a whopping 97 per cent.

Walkouts are due to begin in the early hours of December 4, sparking “genuine fears of cash shortages over Christmas,” the union warned.
