BILL LEADER was the recording engineer and general factotum for Topic Records the longest lasting independent British record label spanning 70 years.

In recognition he was awarded in 2012 both the gold badge of the English Folk Dance and Song Society and the BBC2 Folk Good Tradition Award.

His discography covers 1955 to 2013 and includes artists such as Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Peggy Seeger, Bert Jansch, The Dubliners, The Watersons, Billy Connolly, Pentangle, Christy Moore, Mike Harding, Dick Gaughan and many more.
