Sir Keir's plans to ‘make Brexit work’ will do little to halt Tories' ‘toxic’ deal, union warns
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, speaking at the Centre for European Reform in London, where he has ruled out rejoining the EU or the single market if Labour comes to power, insisting such moves would sow further division in Britain

SIR KEIR STARMER’S proposals to “make Brexit work” will do little to turn around the Tories’ “toxic” deal with the European Union, white-collar transport union TSSA warned today.

The Labour leader launched a new five-point plan on Monday to address Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit agreement, which he said is “holding back Britain’s stagnant economy.”

Despite spearheading the campaign for a second referendum in his previous post as shadow Brexit secretary, Sir Keir insisted that  under his leadership, Labour would not seek another vote or attempt to re-enter the EU single market or customs union.
