Teachers join legal action to prevent governors transferring school to multi-academy trust
TEACHERS in London have joined legal action to prevent governors from transferring a successful comprehensive school to a multi-academy trust.
Governors at Holland Park School, a co-educational comprehensive secondary school, decided to end its existing single academy status and pass the school over to the multi-academy United Learning Trust.
Parents who launched legal action against the transfer have now been joined by the National Education Union (NEU).
