Jewish community in US remains vigilant after 18 bomb threats against synagogues in March

AT LEAST 18 bomb threats against synagogues and Jewish community centres have been reported across nine US states this month, according to a new report.

The Secure Community Network (SCN) said the “alarming number serves as a reminder that the Jewish community remains a top target for hate crimes in the United States and must continue to foster preparedness and resiliency.”

The organisation said it was actively working with community leaders and law-enforcement agencies to address the spate of bomb threats.
